This is a painting of the side of my house, specifically my screened porch and studio doors. Depicted inside the porch is my Daughter and, if you look closely, my Wife. I worked on this piece, on and off, over the course of six years, with most of it being done plein air. There are many paintings underneath this one because the garden changed, the seasons changed, trees grew, my daughter grew etc. The size of it makes it difficult to depict online. It's meant to be experienced in person (with the viewer becoming the source of both the cast shadow and the reflection in the mirror ball.)
