I have received hundreds of emails asking me about my materials and, in particular, what surfaces I use. My Postcard Paintings are painted on natural fiber panels designed and crafted by Patrick Mackin in Brooklyn, NY. His panels are beautifully made, thoughtfully designed for hanging, and completely archival. He mounts them with a variety of surfaces, including Belgian linen and hot and cold press watercolor paper. He also cuts slots in the back so they can hang on a wall unframed.
